This collection of scholarly chapters will explore a broad range of historical and contemporary issues surrounding Latin@ underrepresentation in STEM, spanning multiple contexts, grade levels, learning environments, learner ability, and STEM disciplines. The book will present research on evidence-based programs aimed at increasing Latin@ participation in STEM throughout the educational pipeline from the perspectives of teacher preparation, family and community involvement, and student engagement.
