In response to recent federal grant cancellations—including terminated NSF awards—the Spencer Foundation, in collaboration with the Kapor Foundation, William T. Grant Foundation, and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, has launched a
Rapid Response Bridge Funding Program.
Key Details:

Grant Amount: Up to $25,000 (no indirect costs)

Purpose: To support scholars in STEM and education research (e.g., AI, CS, MSIs, inequality reduction) affected by NSF terminations. Funding may support data collection/analysis, writing, community engagement, or new proposal development.

Eligibility: Must have had a recently cancelled NSF grant; early-career scholars prioritized.

Application Opens: May 2, 2025

Deadlines: May 30 and June 13 (12:00 p.m. CT)
