The Mexican American Studies (MAS) Teachers’ Academy is entering its 10th year of advancing MAS in public schools, with this year’s theme titled “Floricanto”. The event is scheduled to take place virtually from June 17 to June 21.

TExES Fest

The TExES Fest is providing free sessions on content exams that will be led by specialists. Register for this week-long event to receive help with diagnostic tests in content ares, content area instruction, test anxiety, take a practice test, and take part in a TExES test Q&A.

MAS Teachers' Academy

The MAS Teachers' Academy is a scholar-teacher-community powered effort that provides educators with foundational content and curricular support to teach MAS in our schools.


You don’t need to be a MAS teacher to attend! There will be an outstanding line-up of Chicanx Studies scholars who will share their scholarship, teachers who will facilitate curricular workshops and share TEKS-aligned lesson plans that center literacy, language, history, and culture.


Scholarships are available for pre-service teachers to attend!
