As was previously announced, Dr. John Morris, Professor of Geography, passed away on Feb. 16 following a brief illness. John began his UTSA career with a joint appointment in IDS (then in the Division of Education) and Geography. To honor his memory, a scholarship has been established in his name. Both John and his long time partner, Dr. Patricia McGee (Dept of Ed Psych, retired), were outstanding teachers who made lasting contributions to countless students over the years.
