Please see link below for an article on the universities that recently achieved “Tier 1/R1” status according to the Carnegie Classification System report published on Monday. Unfortunately, UTSA did not make the cut this year. However UT-Arlington, UT-Dallas, the University of North Texas and Texas Tech did achieve this status.
