We'd like to highlight a few of our graduating class of Fall 2020 with their journey and share their advice to fellow and future students with what they learned
through their academic years at UTSA in the College of Education and Human Development.
The center, now under the direction of Pamela E. Ray, will open on Tuesday, January 5,
the first time since closing in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Maricarmen Esper co-authors second book on whole child education
Esper, author of Cómo Educar en Valores Éticos (How to Educate in Ethical Values), is co-authoring a second book on whole child education, which includes: character
development, social-emotional skills and competencies, and culturally-relevant education. She also continues research on the same topics. “Once you start researching, you want to know more and more,” Esper said.
