This morning, we recognized the outstanding work of our faculty and staff at the UTSA University Excellence awards ceremony. Below is a list of COEHD winners:

• Dr. Curtis Brewer (ELPS) received the President’s Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in University Service, Tenured/Tenure-Track
• Dr. Ian Thacker (EDP) received the President’s Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award for Research Achievement, Tenure-Track
• Dr. Rachel Cruz (REGSS) received the President’s Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence for Performance, Creative Production or Creative Work
• Special shoutout to Fernando Cordova, Student Development Specialist-Special Programs for the Honors College, and M.Ed. Higher Education Administration student, for receiving the Rising Star Award.

We also want to recognize and congratulate all the nominees and those who are celebrating milestone years of service!
