VPBA Kathryn Funk-Baxter will retire her professional wardrobe and donate a closet full of items to Dress for Success/Successful Connections San Antonio on December 5.

The nonprofit organization targets the needs of low-income women and men by promoting economic security and self-sufficiency to break the chains of generational poverty through job preparation, employment retention and career development programs. The organization also accepts professional and office-appropriate items for its men’s Career Gear program. Their programs help clients obtain and maintain employment for the betterment of themselves and the families they support.

We invite the UTSA campus community to join in a clothing drive to help the women and men served by Successful Connections. Please bring in your adult family members’ gently worn professional and work clothing by December 3 to NPB 4.120. Items will be stored in NPB 4.120, in the Financial Affairs office until the donation meeting December 5.
