Dear COEHD Faculty and Students,

 

We are pleased to announce that the College of Education and Human Development will be hosting the Sixth Annual Student Research Colloquium on November 18, 2016 in the HUC Ballroom 1. This forum is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to share their research from a class project, thesis or dissertation, a work in progress, work with a faculty member, or research that has been previously presented elsewhere. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral. First place winners in each category will receive $500, Second place winners will receive $400 and Third place winners will receive $300.

 

Please encourage your students to participate in this worthwhile event. It is an opportunity to showcase the excellent work being done by COEHD students and is a good way to practice presentation skills.   A bonus for the undergraduates who participate is that they can get valuable feedback from this event and then submit their poster again to participate in the University-wide UTSA Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry Showcase. More information about the Showcase will be provided at the Colloquium.

November 18 – poster presentations and awards
