DAYS are here!
Welcoming new students, renewing friendships, and celebrating UTSA unity, Roadrunner Days kicks off today, August 23, 2019, and continues until September 7, 2019. Students busy with today’s Residence
Hall Move-In, are invited to bring their families and friends to Rowdy’s Stop
& Go for snacks and refreshments, and can wrap up the day with the premiere
of the Spirit of San Antonio (SOSA). A complete list of the events, photos and more, is available at UTSA

Classes start on Monday, August 26, 2019. Everyone Wear their Roadrunner Gear!

CPD Students get head start
(Above) New arrivals to the Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD), current CPD undergraduate students, and graduate-level students all took a few minutes out of their busy orientation
for a group photo. Students from the CPD started the Fall Semester a few days early during the program's orientation held on Thursday, August 22, 2019. The CPD program is unique in that it offers a joint degree - both a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Dietetics
and Nutrition and a Master of Dietetic Studies (MDS) - with more than 1200 hours of supervised experiences. The Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Nutrition will host three information sessions (Dates
below) for anyone interested in the CPD program or who would like to know more about a career as a dietitian or nutritionist.

UTSA FACULTY: THEN AND NOW
CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF FACULTY EXCELLENCE
This exhibition recognizes the legacy of UTSA faculty, who are central to advancing the university’s mission of teaching, research and service. Featured in the exhibit are early portraits of 78 of UTSA’s pioneer tenured/tenure-track professors hired between
1972 and 1978. These individuals, who either completed their careers at UTSA or are still employed by the university, helped shape the curriculum, set academic standards, and significantly impacted the lives of many students throughout UTSA’s 50-year history.
We hope that this exhibit elicits fond memories of professors who have made a positive impact on your life.
Each portrait was developed using a printmaking technique called plate lithography, in which the photograph was transferred onto an aluminum plate, then inked and sealed.
