2018
Spring Scholarship - Office of Undergraduate Research |
The OUR Scholarship will support undergraduates who perform research with a faculty mentor during the 2018 Spring Semester.
Scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 upon completion of the project. We expect to award up to 15 scholarships, pending availability of funds.
Students should apply for the scholarship at the link below. To apply, students must:
1. Have an overall GPA ≥ 3.0;
2. Be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours);
3. Have a faculty mentor and an endorsement letter from the mentor;
4. Have a project planned or underway with a mentor at the time of application submission.
The submission deadline for scholarship is November 17, 2017 (5pm).

The
University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is preparing to host an event that commemorates the history and impact of its Downtown Campus and offers a glimpse toward its future. 
Graduate
students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program will receive specialized training to help patients in underserved Texas communities, supported by a new grant four-year, $800,000 grant. 
Meet
Elizabeth Arevalo '01, '03. She was one of the first students to take classes at the UTSA Downtown Campus when it opened in the fall of 1997 and helped build the foundation for student life there. 
The
College of Education and Human Development recently established the new Center for Community Based and Applied Health Research (CCBAHR) at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
