Mellon Grant

The UTSA Mellon Pathways Program connects the study of humanities to the current conditions of Latinos in the United States and beyond. The program provides research experiences, an apprenticeship with a UTSA humanities faculty mentor, visits to Texas humanities Ph.D. programs, a three-week professionalization workshop, and assistance in applying to humanities graduate programs.

IES P-20 Pathways Grant

The UTSA IES P-20 Pathways Program’s primary objective is to provide undergraduate juniors at UTSA with experiences in conducting education research while preparing participants for doctoral study. The program provides students, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds, with an introduction to education science research and scientific methods, meaningful opportunities to participate in education research studies, networking and professional development and mentoring.
