Graduate Student Professional Development Center (GSR 1.204)
Assessments and rubrics are tools used to determine levels of students’ mastery of course content. This workshop will guide participants through the process of developing rubrics
and evaluation tools that will help to assess student learning. By the end of this workshop students will have learned the steps in identifying the criteria regarding content to be assessed, describing levels of student mastery, and using these elements to
develop purposeful assessments and rubrics. This workshop is open to all graduate students and teaching assistants eager to learn more about the development of assessments and rubrics in university-level classrooms.
Join Dr. Timothy Yuen as he leads this important session for graduate students.
