Description: The
workshop will provide research funding information from several Institutes at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) including NIAID, National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), and National Institute
on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD).
A mock- NIH study session, available funding opportunities, grant writing tips from NIH program managers, tips on writing successful career awards (Ks), and diversity supplements to
R awards are just a few topics that will be discussed during this two-day workshop. This workshop is a great opportunity for pre-doctoral students, post-doctoral scholars, assistant professors, and full professors.
