UTSA ABA program receives international accreditation, becoming one of 28 worldwide
The UTSA master’s degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is now fully accredited by the
Association
for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Accreditation Board. This recognition validates that UTSA students will receive an education of the highest quality as
they prepare to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).

UTSA to receive $9 million grant to help close the employment gap for adults who are neurodiverse
UTSA is partnering with Morgan’s Multi-Assistance Center (Morgan’s MAC) and Southern Methodist
University to address the long-standing challenge of getting neurodiverse adults into the workforce. The program, titled
Employ210, will receive $9 million over the next five years from the U.S. Department of Education to further the department’s goal to add youth and adults with disabilities to the 21st-century workforce.

Zúñiga was also recently selected as one of six state finalists for Teacher of the Year by the Texas Association of School Administrators.

researchers in the School of Health Professions at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio), which was awarded a grant of $759,300 by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency.

(EPPP). The launch of this new journal comes from the APA’s publishing division entering an agreement with APA Division 15 (Educational Psychology).

Victor Villarreal, Ph.D., Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, was recognized
by the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP) as the September Shining School Psychology Trainer.
Dr. Villarreal is a notable member of the TASP community and is devoted to the field.
