Dear COEHD Faculty, 

Academic Innovation regularly offers professional development opportunities to support your teaching practice. I wanted to share an upcoming professional development opportunity being offered beginning in Spring 2025. 

We are excited to announce the opening of applications for the next ACUE faculty cohort! Join the community of educators who have already taken advantage of this opportunity, earn a microcredential or teaching certificate, and learn innovative ways of improving the student experience. 

There are a number of course options being offered, including full courses with certificates awarded, and shorter microcredentials (6-8 Weeks). 

We are also offering: 

Effective Teaching Practices, length is 9-10 months, starts January 27, 2025 

Effective Online Teaching Practices, length is 9-10 months, starts January 27, 2025 

Promoting Active Learning, length is 6-8 weeks, starts March 17, 2025 

Designing Learner-Centered Courses, length is 6-8 weeks, starts June 

Cohorts begin as early as January 2025.  Faculty who complete the certificate will receive a one-time supplement of $1500, or $500 for completing a microcredential. Apply by completing this brief ACUE Interest Form today! You will only need to fill out the interest form, there is no need to register through the ACUE website.
