In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Karla Broadus, Director of UTSA African American Studies will be speaking to public at Carver Library this Saturday, 1/14/2017. She will discuss Role Modeling as well as the Coretta Scott King award books. She has three professional hats: professor of reading/literacy, Director of African American Studies and President/CEO of a technology company.
