COEHD professor wins statewide award

 

Professor Uchenna Emenaha receiving award

 

UTSA’s College of Education would like to congratulate Uchenna Emenaha, PhD, for winning the Science Teachers’ Association of Texas (STAT) Skoog Cup College Faculty Award. Emenaha, a former middle and high school teacher from Houston, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching.

 

 

 

COEHD principal prep program earns grant from Wallace Foundation, SAISD

The Urban School Leaders Collaborative (USLC), a nationally recognized educational leadership program centered in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS), has received a grant through its partnership with San Antonio Independent School District for $1.9 million over the next five years.

Better EARLY than never


On Nov. 19, researchers from the UTSA College of Education and Human Development’s Department of Educational Psychology were awarded a five-year, $1.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) for Project EARLY  — “Evidence-based Action, Research and Learning to support Young children with or at risk for autism.”
