College students will soon be able to pay for rides from Uber through their learning management system. Blackboard on Tuesday announced a partnership with the ride-hailing service that will let students use Transact, the technology
company's cashless payment application, when requesting a ride. Colleges, parents and students using Transact will be able to create accounts to be used exclusively for Uber payments.
