Hi Everyone,

The request for proposals (presentation proposal submissions) is open for the CIS-SA Whole Child Whole Community Conference, with proposals due in a couple of weeks.  It’s a local conference that targets practitioners and focuses broadly on issues of education, mental health, and community engagement. Several COEHD faculty have participated in the conference over the past couple of years:

The Whole Child Whole Community Request for Proposals is NOW OPEN for the Whole Child Whole Community Conference which will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024

We would love to have you and/or someone you know submit a proposal for this year’s conference!!

Our theme: Inspiring Hope and Building Brighter Futures

Our goal is to build the capacity of those who serve youth in order to improve youth mental, emotional, and behavioral health. We are looking for qualified presenters to present on one or more of the following themes:

1. Fostering Relationships to Unlock Student Potential- Tools, strategies, and tactics to improve how to build and sustain authentic relationships with youth, families, and each other.
2. Promoting Mindfulness, Health, and Positive Development- Tools, strategies, and tactics to improve personal wellbeing and health.
3. Inspiring Professional Collaborations- Tools, strategies, and tactics to help agencies work together toward a common goal.
4. State of the Heart: Supporting Youth in Today’s World- Tools, strategies, and research to inspire and inform professionals working with youth.

If you are submitting for a panel or a presentation with multiple presenters, please have only one presenter or panel member submit the form for all participants. In order to fill out the proposal you will need headshots, resumes/CV’s, bios, phone numbers and emails of all presenters/panelists. Proposals are due June 7^th, 2024 June 28^th, 2024. You will be notified of the selection committee’s decision by June 21, 2024.
