Diego Bernal, Texas state representative and vice-chair of the House Committee on Public Education, visited and spoke to students in the Race and Identity through Pop Culture course (AAS 4013) in the African American Studies program. The students were able

The annual allocation of Permanent University Fund (PUF) bond proceeds for Library, Equipment, Repair, and Rehabilitation
(LERR) projects was approved by the University of Texas System Board of Regents during their August 9-10, 2018 meeting. UTSA will receive $2.52 million through this allocation, second only to UT Austin in the amount of LERR funds awarded this year.

that brings an innovative approach to managing institutional resources. The new budgeting process, called Incentivized Resource Management (IRM), is the result of a year-long effort by the Financial and Budget Modeling task force.
