Subject: Abstracts are Now Being Accepted for the 2018 Transforming Care Conference!
Hi
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting abstracts for the 2018 Transforming Care Conference! The deadline to submit is May 7th, 2018!
Notification of proposal acceptance will occur in mid-June.
We have chosen the theme
Fighting for our Lives to pay homage to the work of advocates in the past and to highlight the urgent need to stand up, speak up, and fight for our fundamental rights through advocacy, activism, providing and obtaining comprehensive health care for our
community, and standing in solidarity with all marginalized communities.
Abstracts must fit into one of the following tracks:
· Mental
and behavioral health
· Access
to Care
· Cultural
Competency and Cultural Humility
· Advocacy
and Community Engagement
· Clinical/Medical
· Public
Health/Prevention
· Holistic
Health Activities (i.e., meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, poetry)

Note: Presentations do not need to be exclusive to the Transforming Care Conference.
For individuals requiring assistance with the creation and submission of an abstract, the Abstract Committee is more than happy to offer support and mentorship.
