At our May College-wide meeting, I had previously mentioned that we have an emeritus faculty committee planning a COEHD 50th Courageous Conversations series.  

As you prepare your Fall syllabus, please note that the first of the three series has been scheduled on Oct 10th, 2019tentatively 4-6:30 pm at UTSA Downtown.  

We will send you more details later, but save the date. We encourage you to bring your classes.

A UTSA 50^th Anniversary event:  This will be a night of remembrance with a wonderful program including a specially selected group discussing their recollections about the origins of UTSA, Emeritus faculty talking about the path that led them to UTSA and a very special Tribute to Tomás Rivera.  You are invited to join us at a reception immediately following the presentation.
