New Public Comment Forms on Proposed Rulemaking The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is introducing new electronic forms for the public and interested stakeholders to use when submitting public comments on proposed rules of the commissioner of education, the State Board of Education (SBOE), and the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).
The new public comment forms are posted on the proposed rules web pages of the commissioner of education, SBOE, and SBEC.
TEA has also developed a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page to answer questions you may have on the public comment process for proposed rulemaking.
If you have any additional questions regarding the public comment process, you may contact the TEA Rulemaking Unit at (512) 475-1497 or by email at rules@tea.texas.gov.
Thank you.
