Subject: JPL Fire/Life Safety Project -- Final Push To Complete Project

Good afternoon to all –

The Facilities Project Coordinator for the JPL Fire/Life Safety Project provided the following update today:

The Grand Staircase stair rail install will begin tomorrow morning.  The project contractor and stair rail installer will be working days, nights, and weekends to complete the project by the deadline of June 30.

There will be welding and grinding throughout the next ten days.  The contractor will try to schedule the noisiest of the work in the evenings to the best of their ability, but there will be significant noise through June 30.

If you have any issues or concerns during this final phase of the project, please let me know.  As Josh said in a previous email:  “The end is in sight.”
