Dear COEHD Faculty and Friends of the College,
It is with great pleasure as a Member of the Executive Board of the Undergraduate Research Showcase to announce our
2021 UTSA Undergraduate Research and Creative Showcase. Faculty, Undergraduates, and Graduate Students may collaborate on research presentations for dissemination. There is also the opportunity to submit a paper to the UTSA Undergraduate Scholarly Research
Journal.
I am writing to encourage you to support student involvement and to provide you with key dates:
April 16 Registration Deadline for Presentations
Applications and information at
www.utsa.studentopportunitycenter.com
Presentations may be a narrative poster, oral presentation or 3-minute research talk.
April 21 Research Showcase Event, 9:00 to 4:00 on Zoom code: 972881188834
There are Research Awards at the Showcase. Note that this is a University-wide event that has occurred over a number of recent years and has
grown in undergraduate participation. A National Undergraduate Research Conference (NCUR) will also occur, April 12-14, 2021.
Finally, this is an opportunity that you may wish to consider for Extra Credit and for Graduate Student Co-Presentation and Co-Authorships!
You may also attend and learn about possibilities for Cross-Disciplinary Research.
With warmest regards,
