Subject: UTSA extends modified campus operations until Feb. 2 due to freezing weather
Dear Roadrunners,
The National Weather Service has extended the winter storm warning for Bexar and surrounding counties until 6 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2 With this in mind, UTSA will continue to operate on a modified schedule on Wednesday with all
UTSA classes—including in-person learning and Wednesday evening classes—remaining online. This includes labs and other in-person programs. Regular course schedules and operations will resume on Thursday, Feb. 2.
Employees will continue remote operations on Wednesday. Those with essential job functions should report to work on-campus on their regular schedules. Contact your supervisor if you have questions.
UTSA will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates on campus operations and classes as needed. Updates will be posted on UTSA
Today and on the university’s official social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
You are encouraged to monitor local news sources as the cold front moves through San Antonio, as weather conditions are subject to change.
