Subject: [Servlearn] Mini Grants for Service-Learning Projects

Greetings Faculty and Staff-

The Center for Civic Engagement is pleased to announce the COSA Challenge Grant, mini service-learning grants that provide funding to individual students or a group/course to carry out an experiential learning project with a non-profit or public sector agency in the City of San Antonio. Grants will range from $100 – 500 for an individual student project and up to $1000 for a group/course project. Proposals must be student written with a faculty mentor and an identified community partner. All projects must take place in the City of San Antonio. Funding for this program is made possible by District 8 Councilman Ron Nirenberg’s discretionary city funds. The grants are open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
