Good Evening COEHD Faculty and Staff

Dean Torres created a COEHD Staff Excellence Award. This newly establish college award will be awarded in April.

Nominations are due:  Thursday, March 31, 2022. Please submit packets by email to coehd.dean@utsa.edu

Award winners will be announced at Staff retreat on April 27, 2022 at the COEHD Staff Retreat.

COEHD Staff Excellence Award:

The College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) Staff Excellence Award is to recognize COEHD staff that have demonstrated exemplary service and commitment to COEHD mission, vision and values.

Two awards will be presented to COEHD staff employees.

Requirements:

• Must be in a staff position within COEHD.  Individual cannot be a position that requires them to be a student.
• Staff member must have started on or before September 1 of this academic year.

Nomination Process

• May be nominated by anyone within COEHD (student, staff, faculty, Administrator).
• Nominator should submit a letter of nomination that addresses how individual has demonstrated exemplary service (productivity, efficiency, innovation, etc.) to COEHD and commitment to COEHD mission, vision and values.
• Additional letter of support from anyone either inside or outside of UTSA supporting nomination of individual.
• Both letters should be submitted together to COEHD.Dean@utsa.edu. (PDF format)
• Letters should be limited to no more than 4 pages in length, submitted as a PDF, and have contact information of recommender.
