On Friday, May 2 from 10-11 am the UTSA Digital Accessibility Team will be hosting a training titled, “A Practical Introduction to Title II Compliance” via Zoom for COEHD.

This session is open to all faculty and staff, and we strongly encourage your participation. You will gain foundational knowledge on accessibility practices that support ADA Title II compliance, with a focus on practical tools and strategies.

• Using accessibility checkers in Microsoft and Canvas
• Checking and understanding your accessibility score
• Small wins for your course
• How to start meeting accessibility compliance
• And next steps to continue remediating content

Additionally, during the college wide meeting on Friday, May 16 from 9:30am-1pm, the team will present a training on accessibility and provide updates related to the new Title II regulations.
