ELPS Department and District Partners Secure TEA Grants
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies (ELPS) in partnership with two local school districts, Northside ISD and North East ISD, secured the 2018/19 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Principal Preparation grant. Each of the two districts was awarded more than $100,000. The competitive grant, which was open to all the districts in the state, will provide participants with substantial funding (tuition/fees and textbook expenses) and will also pay for other general program operating costs.
