– Construction Closures Aug 13 - 16 |
The elevator located on the northwest corner of the BRG, along with the adjacent staircase and the main entrance to the
Welcome Center, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 until 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2018 for installation of new epoxy flooring in front of the Welcome Center. The Welcome Center’s north entrance, the south elevators, and northeast and southwest
stairs of the garage will remain open and available for use. For additional information, please reference that attached map or contact the Facilities Service Center at 458-4262.

Since the end of 2017, Puerto Rican officials have not updated the death toll from Hurricane Maria on the island,
but a new study suggests the actual number of lives lost was far higher than 64. Published Thursday in the Journal of the American Medical Association, the study used an analysis of death records to conclude the storm likely killed upwards of 1,100 people
in Puerto Rico.
