Hello COEHD Faculty and Staff,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. We are approaching the finish line of our move to the Downtown Campus, and I truly appreciate your patience and support during this transition.

As we get settled into the Durango Building, please keep a few safety reminders in mind:

Moving comes with extra hazards and at a minimum proper use of equipment, such as ladders, tools, and heavy lifting, please take care when navigating these tasks
Watch for cluttered or obstructed walkways
Monitor others that may be in your care such as children

Your well-being is our priority. Over the next few weeks, you will continue to see movers, painters, and construction crews working throughout the building as we prepare for students to return.

I encourage you to stop by our new spaces in the Durango Building to see where everyone is located and reconnect with colleagues. Visit the UT San Antonio Downtown Campus on our website to familiarize yourself with dining options, parking, our COEHD directory, and more.

I am excited to welcome everyone back and kick off a great semester on August 19!
