Hello everyone,

Join us for an in person event by the Democratizing Racial Justice Project! The event is free and open to everyone. Please share registration and flyer with your students, faculty, networks, and the community.  We look forward to having you.

About this event

Refusing to Forget is a collaborative effort to examine and expose the devastating impact of state-sanctioned racial violence throughout the early 20th century in the Texas Borderlands. Join historians, writers, filmmakers, and more as we study this history and honor those who challenged unjust power structures in our communities. Join us for this two-day community event, featuring a plática, Porvenir film screening, workshop sessions, food and drinks, and more! Free and open to the public.

Sponsored by the Mellon Foundation.
