I am writing to ask that you encourage doctoral students to present at our

Research Colloquium on Oct. 4, Thursday 4-6 p.m. This is a valuable opportunity whereby students

can practice discussing ongoing or completed research and dissertation work. Our doctoral students, in particular, will need to identify such presentations on their curriculum vitae as they pursue job applications. Students and faculty also may attend to listen and interact with others across departments in the College. Below is a link for submitting a proposal for presentation.
