In addition to the UTSA President’s Distinguished Achievement Awards (PDAA), our office manages the
President’s Distinguished Diversity Awards (PDDA), the latter of which are open to faculty/staff and students. Nominations for Diversity awards do not filter through the colleges but can be sent directly to
DiversityAwards@utsa.edu (for faculty and staff) or via RowdyLink (for students). Please consider whether you have faculty and staff colleagues or outstanding students who are worthy nominees for the award. Additional
information on these awards and on criteria for selection is provided at
http://www.utsa.edu/academics/diversity/award.html.
Complete Nomination Packets are due on January 30 and should include:
(1)
Nomination Form
(2) Nomination Statement (minimum 1 page, maximum 5 pages)
(3) One Letter of Support (minimum 1 page, maximum 5 pages)
Please write descriptively for readers who may not be familiar with the work
being nominated for consideration. Use Times New Roman 12 pt. font.
