Greetings Colleagues,

The UTSA REDKE Office of Research Support sends us the following faculty development opportunity.

UTSA has received an invitation from UT Health to participate in VIVA Science SA Conference, April 9th at the Witte Museum.

Viva Science SA is a free and family-friendly event that is designed to enlighten, engage, and excite people of all ages in the San Antonio community by displaying science in an entertaining fashion. The event features a distinguished speaker, interactive science booths, a science fair with posters by local scientists, science-themed artwork, food trucks and much more.

Opportunities for UTSA

The event is being led by The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio and graduate student leaders with the support of all schools at UT Health San Antonio and our partners in the community.

The goal of this initiative is to foster engagement between our (and your) scientists and the general public while showcasing the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to San Antonio’s economic and cultural development.

For questions, please contact Marcus Webster, WebsterM@uthscsa.edu.

Thank you,

--Iwan
