Good morning,
Please see the information below and the attached flyer.
Greetings,
I hope all is well. I am reaching out to you to ask if you can please share the information below to any list-serv you have of your current Graduate Students and Postdoctoral
Associates in your College.
The Graduate School is thrilled to share some exciting news with you. In May 2023, UTSA earned a well-deserved spot in the
distinguished Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) Network. Supported by the National Science Foundation, this network proudly encompasses more than 40 esteemed research universities
across the United States and Canada, including our very own UTSA.
Within this network, each university houses its own local CIRTL community, marked by distinctive programs and areas of expertise tailored to their unique student body.
The primary aim is to nurture Postdoctoral and Graduate Students aspiring to become future faculty members. In this endeavor, The Graduate School will be taking the lead in driving UTSA's local chapter, offering a range of courses and workshops designed to
equip Postdocs and Graduate students for teaching and faculty roles. Furthermore, the program will afford postdoctoral associates valuable opportunities for structured mentoring and teaching engagements with undergraduate students.
We extend a warm invitation for you and your graduate students and postdocs to join us, either in person or virtually, for the CIRTL Kickoff Informational session scheduled
for tomorrow, October 10th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The venue will be the Willow Room, located at Student Union 2.02.12. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for those attending in person.
For those that prefer to join virtually, please find the Zoom link provided below:

Your participation will be greatly valued and contribute to the success of this initiative. We are truly excited about the progress and potential that this collaboration
holds.

Warm regards,
Cynthia
