Hispanic Outlook on Education Magazine has ranked UTSA’s Bicultural Bilingual Studies program in the top 10 schools in the country for bilingual, multilingual, and multicultural education. 

The work of faculty in the Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching and Bicultural-Bilingual departments has led to national recognition of UTSA’s teacher preparation program by the National Council on Teacher Quality, a research and policy organization that is committed to modernizing the teaching profession.

On Monday, January 20, UTSA students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families represented the university as a unified community in San Antonio’s 33rd annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March. 

UTSA will be hosting a variety of events for Black History Month in February. These events are presented by the African American Studies Program, in coalition with the Department of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
