Laura
Bassi Scholarship |
The Laura Bassi Scholarship, which will award a total of $8,000 thrice per annum, was established by Editing Press in 2018
with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. The scholarships are open to every discipline and the next round of funding will be awarded in July:
Summer 2019
Application deadline: 25 July 2019
Results: 15 August 2019
All currently enrolled master’s and doctoral candidates are eligible to apply, as are academics in the first five years of their employment. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form along with their CV through the application portal by

health care can be difficult for college students away from home |

One of every three U.S. college students shows symptoms of a mental health problem such as depression, generalized
anxiety disorder or being suicidal, according to a study by Sara Oswalt, of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and another researcher in their 2018 report, “Trends in college students’ mental health diagnoses and utilization of services, 2009-2015.”

The largest graduating class ever for the University of Texas at San Antonio were all sporting big smiles and
creative caps this weekend as they marched the stage to the sounds of "Pomp and Circumstance." More than 5,100 Roadrunners graduated and received their degrees this weekend during the UTSA spring commencement.
