I hope your summer is off to a great start and you are finding some time to escape from the difficulties and complexities of today’s world.
I am writing to alert you that the deadline for the
American Educational Research Association Proposals is July 20, Tuesday,
Note 11:59 p.m.
Pacific Standard Time. There is still time to submit a proposal. See announcement below. The Conference is
Scheduled for April 22-25, 2022 in San Diego.
This is a great opportunity for you to present your Research, encourage our Graduate and Undergraduate Students to participate
in
the world’s largest educational research conference, holding membership at 14,000 and to acquire new knowledge from every aspect of educational research—Psychology and Cognition, Literacy, Social-Emotional Development, Disciplines such as Mathematics,
Science, History of Education, the Arts and Humanities, Health and Physical Education, Educational Administration, Counseling, International Comparisons, and more.
The Book Exhibit is wonderful and may be a place to advertise your own publications.
There are many possibilities for student funding at the College and Graduate School Offices, also through AERA. Do check the website
for further information.
It will warm my heart to see UTSA’s College of Education and Human Development represented on the Program.
This will help us build a national presence and make an international contribution. Respectful of all you do and

The extended deadline for submissions for the 2022 AERA Annual Meeting is just four days away! We encourage you to complete
your paper and session submissions as soon as possible. The meeting will be held in person in San Diego, CA, Friday, April 22–Monday, April 25.
The 2022 Annual Meeting—“Cultivating
Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century”—will be a chance for you to present your work on the largest stage in the world for education researchers and to stimulate your thinking and scholarship. We are thrilled that our
return to an in-person Annual Meeting is in such a beautiful and culturally diverse city that will provide prime opportunities to connect and engage with colleagues new and old.
We are seeking wide participation across the field of education research and across aligned fields and disciplines. Submissions
to a division, special interest group (SIG), or committee do not need to be focused on the meeting theme.
If you have not already done so, log in now to either start the process of advancing a paper or session submission or
finalize your work. After you log
in, click “My AERA” at the top of the page. On the “My AERA” page, scroll down to the 2022 Annual Meeting and click “Online Program Portal.” For further information on submissions, please review the
