Dear COEHD Faculty,

 

The Office of Undergraduate Research and COEHD planning committee wants to remind you about the 

UTSA UG Research and Creative Inquiry Showcase to be held April 24th,   10: 00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m.. Student registration and submission information will be sent in a separate e-mail. In order to best plan for the event and showcase each unit’s ongoing UG research efforts, please help us: 

  1. Encourage other faculty and students to participate or attend to see the amazing work going on across our campus.
  2. Estimate how many UG students we might expect based on 2013 and spring 2014 UG work in your college, and
  3. Identify mechanisms to incentivize participation for faculty, student presenters, and attendance for non-participants. 

You might consider listing this event on your extra credit options or as an attachment to your syllabus.

 

Estimates of student numbers are needed as soon as possible for budgeting (food, space, etc.). Consider your ongoing faculty/student efforts, college's annual reports, annual research fairs, etc. to get estimates of possible participants.
