Subject: Reminder of Upcoming Spring 2024 Capital of Texas Undergraduate Research Conference (CTURC)

Good Morning, Colleagues

Happy Monday! Please see the attached information regarding the 2024 Capital of Texas Undergraduate Research Conference (CTURC). This is an excellent opportunity for our students to participate in sharing their research work and to also network with other researchers from across the state.

My office will be coordinating transportation for those students with accepted abstracts. ☺️

Please share with your students and networks. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
D

Good morning,

My name is Siddhartha Shah and I am a current member of the Texas Undergraduate Research Journal serving as an associate editor. As the deadline for abstract submissions approaches, we wanted to reach out once again to remind you of the annual Capital Texas Undergraduate Research Conference (CTURC) on Saturday March 30, 2024, hosted by the University of Texas at Austin. As a friendly reminder, we would like to invite members of your university to the annual conference.

CTURC is a student organized conference hosted by The University of Texas at Austin. Volunteers from The Senate of College Councils and The Texas Undergraduate Research Journal work together to organize the conference. CTURC allows undergraduate researchers, from all majors and universities in Texas, to present their original research. The two different presentation styles are Poster Presentation and Oral Google Slides Presentation. Our central mission is to provide a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that increases visibility and promotes the importance of undergraduate research across the state of Texas.

Attached below is our flier for CTURC 2024. I was wondering if you would be able to distribute this message to your students and encourage them to attend. Abstracts for this year’s CTURC are currently open for submission. Individuals can submit using this link. All abstracts are due by February 11, 2024 by 11:59pm.

Further details regarding event schedule and all relevant details will gradually be posted on our website in the upcoming months. Please visit our event website linked here for more details and please do not hesitate to reach out via email if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Sid
