Hi All,

A quick update on new research IT toolkit. We have initiated the rollout of new changes; changes will start reflecting by the end of Tuesday or early Wednesday. Thank you for your patience,

I hope you are doing well. I want to share with you few changes in research IT toolkit that will be introduced on Monday, 10/05.

  1. Faculty dashboard, new proposal intake form, new routing form and sponsored project reports will be available through one link called PI Portal (https://comal.it.utsa.edu/dashboard/pi_summary.php)
  2. New proposal intake form link will replace old Wufoo forms links on research website. New intake form tutorial link: https://youtu.be/69q2PBBQbfI
  3. New routing form (Routing Form 2.0) will be introduced to all users on Monday and we highly encourage all to use it. Old routing form will phase out by October 20th, until then it will be available for use. (Tutorial links to follow soon)
  4. Sponsored project reports (My Projects) is an interactive tool that can be used to search and view award milestones, budget and available balance in budget accounts, employees allocated and paid on project, project F&A rates, and shared credit percentages. (see attached PDF on how to access My Projects)

It'll be extremely helpful if you can share this information with your faculty.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions you may have. Thank you!

Birds up, mask on!

Regards,
