Dear Colleagues,

Communities in Schools (CIS) has reached out to COEHD and HCaP to look for ways to partner on research projects in particular areas.  This is a great opportunity to analyze data that will help to inform CIS projects and allow them to articulate outcomes.  CIS focuses on providing students with holistic communities of support, so their work impacts schools, families, and children. The partnership HCaP on these initiatives make it a good opportunity for cross-disciplinary work.

As a first step, CIS has provided us with a couple of broad topics they are working on, and we are working to align faculty interests with these areas.  Once we have gauged interest, we will have a charrette-type event in April wherein faculty can mingle, discuss ideas related to these areas, and form interdisciplinary teams.

To see the areas of study and indicate your interest (no commitment required), please fill out this form by next week:

Please reach out with any questions, and I’ll be happy to help.

Thanks!

Emily
