Dear Fellow COEHD Colleagues,
I hope your summer has been gratifying and illuminating in many ways.
I invite you and your students to participate as a speaker our
17th Annual COEHD Research Colloquium to be held Spring Semester, Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
You may wish to include reference to this event on your Fall Syllabus and share orally with Graduate and Undergraduate Students who may be candidates for presenting research
at a Roundtable or Poster. Post-Graduates are also welcome to present. Research talks may include work in progress, where the authors are seeking input, research that is completed and an extension of research that has been published. This event may also be
practice for presenting at a national or international conference of repute. Research in collaboration with faculty at other Colleges at UTSA are welcomed.
A variety of research methods are possible including quantitative, qualitative, ethnographic, case studies, historical and
survey studies that add knowledge to a given field of inquiry--- advance thinking and further research on the subject.
With the advent of a partnership with the UT Health Science Center, there may be ways to collaborate with faculty at that institution. In sum, there are numerous possibilities.
Further information will follow. Application forms with Abstract guidelines will be available in September.
If you have questions, you are welcome to be in touch.
With all best wishes for a productive school year,
Rosalind Horowitz, Ph.D.
