Dear Colleagues,

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Kristen Lindahl,  Associate Professor in the Department of Bicultural- Bilingual Studies to her new role within the COHED as Assistant Dean for  Professional Preparation.  Dr. Lindahl  will work with Dr. Flores, the College leadership team,  faculty in the college and across the institution,  and our community partners to continue to build  and  strengthen our professional preparation programs and our partnerships with schools and communities. The work that Dr. Lindahl will do across programs and with educational partners and TEA is critical  to the mission of the university and college.  Dr. Lindahl has a  strong history of success in educator preparation, school partnerships, and accreditation and will be an important member of the COEHD leadership team.

I look forward to your continued engagement, excellent work, and collegiality as we begin the 2019-2020 academic year with Dr. Lindahl in this new roll.
