Culture, Literacy, and Language- Two-Open Houses

 

 

 

Hi Prospective and Interested Future Ph.D. Students,

 

Our department will be hosting Two Open Houses this fall to inform students of our doctoral program in Culture, Literacy, and Language.  We will discuss the admissions process, funding opportunities, course/program content, and current students will provide some insight about the PhD experience. We would like to extend our warmest invitation to all those who are interested and available to attend.  Thank you for your interest!

 

The PhD in Culture, Literacy, and Language at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, offers you the opportunity to work in a vibrant interdisciplinary atmosphere with anthropologists, educators, psychologists, applied linguists, and sociologists to pursue research topics within or across three major focal areas:

                                      * Mexican-American and Latino Cultures

                                      * Bilingual Education and Biliteracy
                                      * Applied Linguistics
