COEHD Alum Named Bilingual Teacher of the Year

For Hilda Rodriguez, Ph.D., life is best spent helping others as a 5^th grade dual-language teacher at Gilbert Elementary. Rodriguez, who earned her doctorate in culture, literacy, and language from UTSA in 2019, is being recognized for her work by the San Antonio Area Association for Bilingual Education as bilingual teacher of the year.

The Department of Educational Psychology is pleased to announce that the school psychology (M.A.) program has been named the winner of the university's inaugural Innovation in Master’s Program Admissions award.

The Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching Department is proud to announce the Trauma-Informed Education Speaker Event featuring educator and author Alex Shevrin Venet. The online presentation, scheduled for Thursday, April 22 from 6-7:30 p.m., will begin with a talk by Venet and conclude with a Q&A.
