Dear Colleagues,
As we prepare for Fall Semester, 2023, I am forwarding information about the forthcoming Research Colloquium.
The 16th College of Education and Human Development Research Colloquium will be held on
Thursday, March 7th 2024.
This will be an opportunity for Faculty and Undergraduates, Masters, Doctoral, and Post-Doctoral Students to present
on-going and completed research. Please share with All. We wish to showcase the Educational Research at UTSA!
A variety of research methods are welcome including quantitative, qualitative, ethnographic, case studies, historical and
survey studies that add knowledge to a given field of inquiry--- and advance thinking. Projects may be in collaboration
with researchers at another College and/or at another University.
Individual papers and team projects will be presented on panels, roundtables, and as posters.
Save the Date and identify this exciting yearly event, growing in size and scope, on your Syllabus!
Further information to follow.
Best regards for a stimulating and satisfying Fall Semester,

The
Routledge International Handbook of Research on Writing
inaugurates a wide scope of international research advancement, with attention to writing
at all levels of schooling and in all life situations. It provides advanced surveys of scholarship on the histories of world and child writing and literacy; interconnections between writing, reading, and speech; digital writing; writing in communities; writing
in the sciences and engineering; writing instruction and assessment; and writing and disability. A section on international measures for assessment of writing is a new addition to this compendium of research.
